Jean Michel Jarre has been informed that his concert in Kosice scheduled for November 16th next is cancelled : the Slovakian promoter, Jan Poliak from EPG Rock On ! could not comply with the contractual financial conditions.
This news has caused great disappointment and prejudice to the Artist and his staff, at such late notice.
Jean Michel Jarre and his Management have instructed Mr Jan Poliak to give immediate full refunds to all the fans who have bought tickets.

I'm really sad of this. I have bought 2 tickets for my best friends as a present for a birthday. And finally today we were informed that the show is cancelled. I know, it's not your fault. I'm really sad of the EPG Rock On! promoter, as this promoter cancelled the show of Sepultura last year also in Kosice.
It is indeed something absolutely unacceptable!!! As all the fans received this information JUST today - 16.11. sometime around the noon it was announced in the radio but so many people have travelled to Kosice (some of them 600 kilometres or even more, not only from Slovakia) people took 2-3 days off from work, just to be in Kosice and to see your great show! I feel sorry for Jaro, who bought the tickets for two of his best friends as birthday gift....and nothing happened :( we know it is not your fault and me and many of my friends are very very angry and disappointed with that person - Jan Poliak and his "great agency" that failed to organize this event! And what really shocks me is the fact that even TODAY untill noon - 16.11. it was possible to buy few last free tickets for your concert in Kosice but as I now found out, Jan Poliak has cancelled the show on 9.11. already! Why did he not cancell the selling of the tickets straight away? Why has this not been announced on 9.11. in Slovakian Media or at the official website where the tickets could be bought?? I would like to ask Jan Poliak all these questions....Would it be in your power to "push" on EPG agency to make some official statement and to explain how could such failure happen AGAIN? Last year the band Sepultura arrived to Kosice as many of their loyal fans travelled from far to see them and what happened?? EPG Agency announced at the very day of the concert that it is cancelled....Jan Poliak claimed that he had not enough money to pay the band....Sepultura members were very disappointed as they travelled far to Kosice, Slovakia to play for the fans and all the fans who arrived to Kosice and only very short time before concert should begin, it was announced that the show is cancelled....sorry for such a long comment and maybe a little bit chaotic but I am very angry and sad :((
We turned up at the Kosice concert 30 minutes before the start to find it deserted with nobody there to answer any questions! Took the tickets back to the place we bought them and they said it's nothing to do with them and gave us some address in BA to send the tickets!!! 90 Euros is a lot of money for us and we have probably lost it forever as I have no confidence in anyone here repaying our money. It's a terrible situation, very sad and I want to know it can happen yet again with the same so called 'promoter'?
